Former President Donald Trump’s campaign is swatting away another tantrum from the left. Cue the Pennsylvania Values super PAC, a group that seemingly has as much regard for facts as AOC does for fiscal restraint. These liberals have concocted a misleading ad claiming Trump, the epitome of conservative backbone, wants Pennsylvania voters to abandon mail-in voting.
Being the responsible and lawful folks, Trump's team shot off a cease-and-desist letter faster than Biden could lose his train of thought. They responded to this week’s deceitful ad that plastered fragments of Trump’s speeches, cherry-picking his words to construct their narrative. The ad in question flashes videos of Trump denouncing early voting as corrupt, a stance he had initially taken during the messy 2020 pandemic election.

In a masterstroke of legal smackdown, Trump’s counsel pointed out that this ad could be infringing on the rights of Trump’s supporters, invoking the historic Ku Klux Klan Act – legislation originally aimed at thwarting Democratic intimidation tactics. Trump’s lawyer reminded Pennsylvania Values that their antics might have legally landed them in hot water. Only in today’s America does one have to remind others not to trample on voting rights by twisting the truth.
Switch lanes to the present day, and Trump has evolved his strategy, promoting the “Swamp the Vote” initiative that encourages Republicans to engage in mail-in voting and early in-person voting. In the schizophrenic environment created by the left, Trump’s adaptability is a sign of strength, not hypocrisy.
Let’s not kid ourselves; the ad is basically a liberal shriek into the void, hurled with the hope of sowing confusion among conservative voters. Despite their flailing attempts, Trump’s base remains steadfast, united against these deceptive tactics. Republican voters know their mail-in ballot from their absentee ballot, no thanks to the disinformation campaigns of leftist groups.'
While the left continues to break out in hives at the sound of common sense, Trump’s legal team stands ready. Their message is loud and clear: keep it clean, keep it honest, or expect a day in court. Let’s hope the left gets the memo this time.
