But the possibility that has sent shockwaves through the left is the idea of former Fox News host Tucker Carlson as Trump’s potential vice president.

When asked about the possibility on “The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show,” Trump expressed his liking for Tucker and praised his common sense. He emphasized that conservatives are not just conservative; they have common sense and want secure borders and walls that work.
However, the left reacted with horror to Trump flirting with the idea of Carlson as his running mate. The Huffington Post dramatically exclaimed, “UGH: Donald Trump Flirts With Tucker Carlson as Running Mate.” The New Republic warned its readers of the worst person they could imagine as a potential vice president. And as expected, The Daily Beast painted a picture of a second term nightmare with the headline, “Donald Trump just made the idea of a second term even more nightmarish.”
Speculations about this unconventional pairing gained momentum after Trump, Carlson, Kid Rock, and UFC President Dana White were spotted together at UFC 295 in New York over the weekend. The image of the former president rubbing shoulders with the conservative news host fueled further discussions about the possibilities of a Trump/Carlson ticket.
One can’t help but find the leftist reaction entertaining. The mere suggestion of Tucker Carlson as a potential running mate has sent them into a frenzy. It’s clear that they fear his influence and ability to resonate with everyday Americans. The left’s attempt to demonize this idea only shows how desperate they are to hold onto power and suppress conservative voices.
In the end, whether Trump chooses Carlson or another candidate as his running mate remains to be seen. But the fact that the left is already panicking about it should be a sign to conservatives that we’re on the right track. The mainstream media’s biased reporting and fearmongering only serve to solidify our beliefs and support for President Trump.
