In Thursday’s debate, President Joe Biden veered off course from the expected topic of abortion and instead made a bizarre claim about women being raped by their in-laws and family members. This surprising statement drew swift criticism from former President Donald Trump, who seized the opportunity to highlight what he dubbed as “Biden Migrant Crime.”
Trump pointed out the dangers posed by individuals entering the country illegally and the unfortunate cases of women and girls falling victim to rape and murder at the hands of such criminals. He emphasized the gravity of the situation at the border, contrasting it with Biden’s misguided focus on familial relationships.
Recent incidents, such as the rape of a 15-year-old girl by a Turkish migrant released due to lack of bed space, and the tragic deaths of individuals like Jocelyn Nungaray and Laken Riley at the hands of illegal immigrants, serve as poignant reminders of the real threats faced by American citizens.
Biden’s attempt to draw a parallel between incest and crimes committed by illegal immigrants only served to downplay the seriousness of the issue and disregard the concerns of the American people. As the debate unfolded, it became clear that Trump was the one offering a more grounded perspective on the pressing matter of border security and migrant-related crimes.
