Trump has successfully moved the 14th Amendment case to the Federal Court. Liberals are in panic.
Despite his recent victory in the legal battle, Donald Trump is still facing challenges from left-wing activists who are trying to prevent him from running for president in 2024.
According to the Associated Press, Trump's lawyers have moved the case filed by a liberal advocacy group in Washington to the federal court in Colorado. The reason is that the issues in the case center on the US Constitution and federal court is the best place to resolve them.
The main issue in the case is whether Trump's actions following the 2020 presidential election violated the 14th Amendment's provisions. The suit argues that the clause applies to Trump since he questioned the integrity of the vote. Section 3 of the amendment states that people who provide aid or rebellion to enemies are prohibited from holding public office.
The 14th Amendment's bar can only be overridden by a two-thirds majority in Congress. Liberal attempts to twist the document to fit their agenda will fail.
In their notice of removal, Trump's lawyers stated that there's an urgent need to resolve the issue of whether or not Trump is eligible to be president.
The request was granted, as it follows the system's rules. State courts may disagree with the ruling, but the real decisions are made by the federal court.
The Colorado Secretary of State's office, on the other hand, is not happy with Trump's decision to move the case to the federal court. It claims that state courts are well-equipped to handle the 14th Amendment claims.
Liberal groups in various parts of the country are joining together to prevent Trump from running for president again. The Washington Examiner reported that a group known as Free Speech for People is bombarding election officials in nine states with letters and calls in an attempt to prevent Trump from participating in the elections.
The group CREW is the organization that successfully removed a commissioner in New Mexico from office due to a misdemeanor conviction. It's clear that they're out to destroy Trump's supporters.
Steven Cheung, Trump's press secretary, called the tactics used by the left-wing groups to prevent Trump from running for president an absurd conspiracy theory. He said that the groups behind these attacks are only resorting to desperate politics.
Liberal groups are trying to ruin Trump's chances of winning the 2024 presidential election. He said that the courts will eventually rule in his favor, and he's ready to fight any challenge that they throw at him.
