In the latest Des Moines Register/NBC News/Mediacom Iowa Poll, former President Trump is crushing his competition in Iowa with over 50 percent support. This is a significant jump from his 43 percent support in October. Meanwhile, the second-place candidate, Ron DeSantis, trails behind with only 19 percent support, a massive 32-point difference. Nikki Haley, who the media has been hyping up as a serious contender, sits in third place with a measly 16 percent support. It’s clear that Trump remains the dominant force in the Republican field, despite the media’s attempt to create a false narrative.
The pollster even noted that Trump’s lead is commanding at this point, and with Iowa’s votes coming up in less than five weeks, it seems unlikely that anyone will be able to catch up to him. This is a slap in the face to the NeverTrumpTards and the corporate media, who were hoping for a strong alternative to Trump. Instead, Trump has only grown in popularity while his competitors have struggled to make significant gains.

Looking back at the 2016 election, Trump lost in Iowa to Ted Cruz but still managed to perform better than the polls predicted. This time around, the polls show Trump with a strong lead, polling near or above 50 percent. The media’s obsession with Nikki Haley is nothing more than a hoax and an attempt to manipulate public opinion. Haley may have some support in New Hampshire, but Trump’s lead there is nearly 30 points ahead of her. It’s clear that Trump is outperforming his 2016 polling and remains the frontrunner in the GOP race.
It’s time for the GOP establishment and the media to accept the reality that Trump is still the leader of the party and the best choice for the presidency. All the wishful thinking and false narratives won’t change that fact. Iowa voters are likely to reaffirm their support for Trump, and it’s only a matter of time before the rest of the country does the same. Trump’s dominance is here to stay, and the sooner his opponents recognize that, the better.
