On Thursday night, Donald Trump was indicted on various charges, including one count of obstruction of justice. This move could boost his support among voters who are backing him in the primary, but it also raise questions about his ability to win the general election. One of his primary rivals, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, released a statement about the situation. According to DeSantis, the president's alleged actions are a threat to the country's democracy.
If elected, DeSantis has stated that he would hold the Department of Justice accountable, end political bias, and put an end to weaponization.
In response to the growing concerns about the country's political climate, Vivek Ramaswamy, an entrepreneur, stated that the current state of affairs is an affront to everyone. He also noted that the attacks on Trump have been carried out since he became a candidate in 2016.
He claimed that Obama tried to undermine the FBI by deputizing the agency to infiltrate Trump's campaign. The federal police state is now arresting Trump. Ramaswamy noted that the department is hypocritical as it prosecutes Trump without bringing charges against Biden.
Tim Scott, a Republican senator from South Carolina, stated that he would ensure that the justice system is independent and fair if he is elected president. He also said that he would remove all of the impurities and injustices from the system. Larry Elder, on the other hand, criticized the political persecution that has been carried out through social media.
Although there were some messages of support from the other candidates, they made it clear that they are still focused on winning the primary. They also noted that Trump's political persecution is unfair.
Over on Twitter, Ryan Girdusky noted that two points can be asserted regarding the indictment of Trump. While there is a bias against him, it does not negate the fact that he will be facing two trials next year. A political action committee released a statement claiming that over 50 prominent conservative and Republican politicians, including Scott, DeSantis, and Ramaswamy, are backing Trump.
The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head.
It is un-American.
The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct. Yet, now he is…

A spokesperson for Trump's political action committee urged the other Republican candidates to rally behind him instead of consulting with their political consultants. Karoline Leavitt stated that it's time for all of the party's presidential candidates to speak out against the Department of Justice and its corrupt division headed by Joe Biden.
The views on the indictment are generally biased and show how the Department of Justice has been weaponized. It is being used to unfairly target Trump.
