Nikki Haley, the former United Nations Ambassador, might be dreaming of joining the Trump 2024 ticket, but Donald Trump Jr. has some choice words for that notion. In an interview with conservative news outlet Newsmax, he made it crystal clear that he’s not here for Nikki’s potential vice presidential aspirations. “I wouldn’t have her, and I would go to great lengths to make sure that doesn’t happen,” he declared.

But why the strong stance against Nikki? Well, according to Trump Jr., Haley is just another puppet of the Washington, D.C. establishment, craving never-ending wars, and dancing to the tunes of the billionaire class. He even went on to say that she’s the new favorite candidate of the billionaires because they want control.
Despite her rising popularity in recent months, even rivaling GOP favorite Gov. Ron DeSantis, Haley might have a tough road ahead if she’s thinking about joining the Trump train. In fact, DeSantis took the opportunity to throw some shade at Haley during a campaign stop, questioning whether she would accept a vice presidential nomination from Trump.
Meanwhile, Lara Trump, the former president’s daughter-in-law, decided to add more fuel to the fire by hinting at the possibility of Haley joining the Trump ticket. “Crazier things have happened. I don’t know. I would never say never with Donald J. Trump. Never say never,” she playfully teased.
