In January 2025, the nation faced a critical issue with the numerous executive orders issued by former President Joe Biden. These orders were heavily criticized throughout his time in office for their extreme and harmful nature. Some of the key orders included halting the Keystone Pipeline, which was blamed for driving up gas prices. Additionally, Biden’s orders favored radical environmental policies like rejoining the Paris Accords, despite ongoing issues like widespread wildfires.
Furthermore, Biden’s orders supported illegal immigrants by allowing them to be included in the census and extending various benefits. He also disrupted immigration enforcement by halting border wall construction and limiting deportations. The executive orders extended beyond immigration, touching on student loan debt, eviction moratoriums, and civil rights for LGBT and transgender individuals.
