In a stunning display of support, former President Donald Trump drew a capacity crowd of approximately 2,500 enthusiastic supporters to his campaign rally in Derry, New Hampshire. Despite facing numerous legal challenges and a barrage of criminal charges, Trump’s popularity amongst his base remains unwavering. The crowd at the New England Sports Center erupted in chants of “Trump” and “USA,” showing that the former president is still the darling of the Republican Party.
Arriving almost 90 minutes late to the event, Trump wasted no time in making headlines. He proudly announced that he had just filed as a candidate for the New Hampshire primary, despite efforts by state Republicans to block him. Trump playfully mocked his four pending indictments, claiming that they had only helped boost his popularity. The crowd responded with applause and cheers, indicating that they view the legal troubles as nothing more than political attacks.
Among the fervent supporters in attendance were Kathleen Keenan, an Irish Catholic, and Jewlianna Ruggiero, an Israeli-American Jew. The two strangers shared a heartwarming embrace when Ruggiero noticed Keenan draped in an Israeli flag. Keenan explained that she wore the flag to show solidarity with Israel and to dispel the notion that America is anti-Semitic. Ruggiero, who had previously experienced anti-Semitism in New Hampshire, was moved to tears by Keenan’s gesture.

Both Keenan and Ruggiero firmly believe that Trump is America’s best hope for preventing another 9/11-style attack. They see him as a champion of law and order, a stark contrast to the views of critics like Liz Cheney, who recently called Trump “the single most dangerous threat” to America. Trump, ever the provocateur, did not shy away from attacking President Joe Biden, accusing him of turning America into “a hotbed of Jihads” and providing a safe haven for terrorists.
Trump also took the opportunity to chastise Biden for his relaxed beach day while the world burned with crises. The former president criticized Biden for his handling of the border crisis, the Taliban’s ascent in Afghanistan, and allegations that COVID-19 relief funds were sent to a Palestinian group connected to Hamas. Trump vowed to withhold federal funding from schools that mandate vaccines and launch an aggressive deportation effort against undocumented immigrants.
With his trademark flair and charisma, Trump laid out his vision for a revitalized America, promising to clean up crime-ridden cities and restore law and order.
