Is there anything more festive than the sight of President-elect Donald Trump making headlines with promises of major pardons? During a recent press conference at his Mar-a-Lago estate, he revealed his intention to pardon numerous individuals involved in the January 6th Capitol protest. While some might call it insurrection, others see it as a passionate display of American spirit that simply got a bit out of hand. After all, when the government oversteps its bounds, isn’t it refreshing to see someone willing to take a stand?
