Trump Press Secretary Slams Trial as Biden-Orchestrated Witch Hunt

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, spoke out against the trial involving hush money paid to cover up an affair by the former president, calling it a “witch hunt” orchestrated by President Joe Biden and his team. Leavitt accused the Biden campaign of desperation, claiming that they are resorting to sending actor Robert De Niro and campaign agents to demonstrate outside the courthouse.

According to Leavitt, the Biden campaign’s actions signify their acknowledgment of losing, with the trial being labeled as a “witch hunt” directed by Biden himself. She criticized the use of a “hard-left” district attorney to pursue Trump, stating that the case lacks merit and would have been dismissed in any other courtroom.

Leavitt also criticized the judge overseeing the trial, accusing Judge Juan Merchan of imposing an “unconstitutional gag order” on Trump, the 2024 presidential front-runner. She went on to challenge the credibility of the Biden campaign’s tactics, emphasizing Trump’s growing popularity and dismissing the influence of “out-of-touch” Hollywood actors like De Niro.

In Leavitt’s view, the Biden campaign’s actions are laughable, and she accused Biden of weaponizing the justice system and posing a threat to democracy. She criticized the media for focusing on the trial, labeling it a “communist show trial” and diverting attention from real issues facing America.
