In a scathing critique, former President Donald Trump unleashed his fury upon Fox News for their lackluster ratings during the most recent Republican presidential primary debate. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love some good ratings drama? Trump wasted no time in letting everyone know his thoughts on the matter.

“The debate on Fox News had a hard time with the proverbial ratings. You know what television ratings are, it’s all about the ratings,” Trump stated, reminding everyone of his expertise in this area. He didn’t hold back in proclaiming this debate as one of the lowest-rated ever, if not the lowest. Ouch!

But Trump didn’t stop with his critique of the network itself. No, he couldn’t resist taking aim at the participants too. He dubbed them “second-tier people,” singling out former Governors Chris Christie and Asa Hutchinson. And just for fun, he mockingly referred to Hutchinson as “Ada Hutchinson.” Classic Trump humor!
According to Trump, these wannabe contenders were far from presidential material. In fact, he wouldn’t even consider them presidential talents. The way Trump sees it, their answers were so bad that even their delivery was worse. Talk about a double whammy!
Trump then turned his attention to President Joe Biden, whom he labeled as the “worst president in the history of our country.” He didn’t mince words, calling Biden “corrupt” and “incompetent.” Yikes! Trump made it clear that he was ready to fight against Biden and his “absolute lunatic thugs.” Well, at least he’s not holding back.
To end on a high note, Trump rallied his supporters for the upcoming 2024 presidential election. He confidently declared, “We will win in 2024. We’re going to make our country great again.” Trump knows how to leave his audience with a bang.
In a delicious twist of irony, reports have revealed that Trump’s interview with Tucker Carlson actually outperformed Fox News’ GOP debate in terms of viewership. Trump’s charisma and star power brought in a whopping 19 million viewers, while the debate only managed to draw 12.8 million. Looks like Trump is still the ratings king!
Despite the lackluster debate, Fox News is determined to make a comeback. They recently announced that Stuart Varney and Dana Perino will be co-moderating the next Republican presidential primary debate. They’re even bringing in Univision’s Ilia Calderón for some added spice. This showdown is scheduled for September 27 on the FOX Business Network, and it’s sure to be a must-watch event.
