In a fiery address to his supporters in Richmond, Virginia, former President Donald Trump didn’t hold back in his criticism of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Trump accused Willis of running a shoddy case against him and his associates, which seems to be unraveling faster than a cheap sweater.
The whole shebang revolves around Judge Scott McAffee mulling over whether to give Willis the boot from prosecuting her own RICO case against Trump and his crew. Why? Because of her cozy ties with Nathan Wade, a special investigator on the case. Wade and Willis have sworn up and down that their lovey-dovey relationship only blossomed after Wade got hired. But a former employee spilled the beans, saying these two lovebirds were smooching way back in 2020.

And that’s not all! There’s chatter about Willis dipping into the state’s cookie jar to bankroll her lovey-dovey adventures with Wade. They gallivanted off to swanky soirees on the taxpayers’ dime, with their extravagant escapades funded in cold, hard cash. Looks like Willis played favorites with Wade, paying him a king’s ransom while stiffing other investigators on the case.
Trump didn’t miss the chance to zing Willis and her “lover” during his speech. He sarcastically pointed out their questionable actions, like hiring Wade for a pretty penny despite his lack of relevant experience. Trump wasn’t buying it. He mimicked a hammering motion to drive his point home, hinting at what he believes went on behind closed doors. “With over 2,000 calls between them, that Wade guy must’ve been a real pro… at something else,” Trump quipped.
It’s clear that Trump isn’t afraid to call out what he sees as a flimsy prosecution. With allegations flying left and right, this courtroom drama could give a reality TV show a run for its money. Willis better buckle up because it looks like the Trump train isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
