In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News at Mar-a-Lago, former President Donald Trump declared that he is winning the battle for public support against Special Counsel Jack Smith. Trump lambasted Smith, likening him to a character straight out of “central casting.” The former President made it clear that he is formally moving to ask the court to hold Smith in contempt for continuing to make filings despite the stay on proceedings in the January 6 case. Trump firmly believes he is immune from prosecution and blames Smith for attempting to silence him. “It’s the craziest thing I’ve ever seen,” Trump exclaimed, referring to the recent filing preventing him from discussing Pelosi’s refusal to accept the deployment of troops on January 6, 2021.
During his interview, Trump passionately defended his immunity claim, asserting that he was fulfilling his duty to investigate the allegedly rigged election.
