Former President Trump is up to his old tricks again! He’s hinting that he might sit down for an interview with the amazing Tucker Carlson on the same night as the first GOP debate. Can you believe it? He’s not interested in playing by the rules and participating in the debate like everyone else. Nope, he wants to have his own little “competing event” because, you know, he’s just that special.

Now, let’s talk about the debate. So far, seven candidates have qualified to participate. And let me tell you, these guys are no slouches. We’ve got Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, former Vice President Mike Pence, and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. These are some serious heavy-hitters, folks.
But guess who else has qualified? You guessed it, the former president himself. However, he’s been making it pretty clear that he’s not interested in playing nice and participating in the debate. Nope, he’s more interested in avoiding those “TRUMP & MAGA hating anchors” and being “libeled and abused.” Can you blame him?
So instead, he’s teasing us with the possibility of a one-on-one interview with the one and only Tucker Carlson. You can’t deny that would be a fascinating conversation. And let’s be honest, who needs a debate when you can have a private chat with the best in the business?
Now, the details are still up in the air. It’s not clear if this interview will actually happen, but I have a feeling it will.
