President-elect Trump has made it abundantly clear that his administration’s focus will be on enforcing the law at the southern border. This commitment comes amidst a growing sense of questioning from the Biden administration regarding the number of individuals residing illegally within the country. One might think that the Biden team would have an actual estimate handy, but apparently, they’re still checking the back of the napkin where they scribbled their notes.
As Trump gears up to take office, the “who, what, and how many” of illegal immigration has become almost theatrical. The left seems more interested in playing a numbers game similar to the old “Where’s Waldo?” books instead of offering straightforward answers. Perhaps they’re hoping that if they keep counting, the problem will magically disappear. Yet, instead of clarity, the Biden administration is left fumbling through a maze of statistics like a lost puppy.

Conservatives have long advocated for a strong border policy, and Trump’s agenda seems to be aligned perfectly with that stance. What remains puzzling, however, is the left’s reluctance to admit the sheer volume of illegal entries into the U.S. Would admitting the truth trigger a collective meltdown in the ivory towers of liberal academia? It’s hard to tell, but it certainly appears that they would prefer to mumble obscurities rather than confront the reality of the situation.
The empty promises of border control made by previous administrations have led many to question whether the current leadership even comprehends the challenges ahead. With Trump aiming for decisive action, the contrast could not be more stark. The incoming administration is left to justify its lack of technical prowess regarding immigration figures while Trump’s team confidently readies itself to address what could be a national crisis.
It’s a classic case of “talk a big game but don’t expect results.” The Biden administration ducks and dodges the numbers in a way that would make a skilled boxer proud. Meanwhile, Trump remains focused on tackling the issues head-on, even as the left struggles to decide whether to lead with facts or their usual vague narratives. The final count may very well tip the scale on how America moves forward on this contentious topic. As it stands, those looking for a definitive answer from the left will likely keep finding nothing but a confusing haze of bureaucracy and deflection.
