If judges attempting to dismantle the funding freeze do succeed, it could spell disaster for taxpayers expecting reliable energy solutions. The financial burden of funding a less reliable energy future, complete with solar panels and wind farms, outweighs the benefits. As long as the Trump administration’s commitment to energy independence is upheld, America can look forward to a future powered by the reliable energy sources that have historically fueled its economy, rather than an unpredictable array of untested alternatives. The time has come for a reality check — Americans deserve more from their energy choices, and that means investing in what works.
