President Trump, the MAGA magician himself, is about to make a grand entrance in the swampy heart of Washington D.C. on Thursday afternoon. And boy, oh boy, he’s not there for a friendly tea party. No, folks, he’s got a bone to pick with a guy named Jack Smith, who just so happens to be the Special Counsel investigating him. But hold on tight, because this investigation might not be as fair and impartial as the left-wing loonies want you to believe.

You see, this Jack Smith character has a shady connection to none other than Lois Lerner, the former IRS official who made it her mission to target conservative tea party groups. Talk about using your government power for personal gain! And guess what? Attorney General Merrick Garland, who claims this investigation is all above board, seems to have conveniently forgotten about this connection. Maybe he needs a little reminder about the skeletons in Smith’s closet.

Back in the day, when Eric Holder was Attorney General, he was asked to bring Smith in front of the House Oversight Committee to spill the beans about his role in weaponizing the IRS against conservatives. But surprise, surprise, Smith never saw the inside of that committee room. Instead, Lerner, the mastermind behind the whole scandal, retired with a fat paycheck from hardworking taxpayers. No consequences, no nothing. Just a cushy retirement.
Now, two Republican heavyweights, Chairman Darrell Issa and Chairman Jim Jordan, are demanding that the Department of Justice make Smith available for an interview. And why not? These guys know that there’s more to this story than meets the eye. They’ve got evidence that Smith was knee-deep in the swamp, colluding with Lerner and discussing potential criminal enforcement against nonprofit groups. Can you say abuse of power?
But wait, there’s more! The meeting between Smith and Lerner happened just days before she took to the stage at Duke University, crying about political pressure on the IRS. Talk about playing the victim card! It’s almost like she knew exactly what she was doing, trying to “fix the problem” created by the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision before the 2010 midterm elections. Boy, did she underestimate our President Trump’s ability to drain the swamp.
And here’s the cherry on top, my conservative comrades. The federal judge assigned to President Trump’s case is none other than a Democratic activist. Can you believe the audacity? It’s like they’re not even trying to hide their bias anymore. But you know what? We won’t be deterred. We won’t let the left run roughshod over justice. President Trump will fight tooth and nail to expose the corrupt, deep state operatives who are hell-bent on destroying him. Because hey, that’s just how he rolls.
