Former President Donald Trump has promised that if he is reelected in 2024, he will launch an investigation into leftist news networks MSNBC and NBC News for what he calls “country-threatening treason.” In a scathing post on Truth Social, Trump accused the networks, particularly MSNBC, of being dishonest and corrupt in their coverage. He specifically criticized their relentless promotion of the debunked Russiagate conspiracy and labeled it as a “big campaign contribution” to the Democratic Party.

Trump vowed to thoroughly scrutinize these networks, along with others in the “Lamestream Media,” for their dishonest and corrupt reporting. He questioned why these media companies should be allowed to use the valuable airwaves of the USA for free. Trump concluded by stating that they are a threat to democracy and the enemy of the people.
It’s difficult to argue with Trump’s assessment of MSNBC when we see examples of their biased reporting and personal attacks on a daily basis. MSNBC columnist Dean Obeidallah openly called for Trump to die in prison as punishment for his alleged coup attempt. This type of rhetoric is not only dangerous but also goes against the principles of a fair and just society.
Another MSNBC host, Nicolle Wallace, displayed her excitement at the prospect of Trump being booked into a violent Atlanta jail after his indictment. She described the jail’s history of stabbings and fatalities in a gleeful manner, showing a lack of professionalism and empathy.
Rachel Maddow, who became the face of the Trump-Russia collusion narrative, dismissed the highly anticipated John Durham report when it contradicted her preferred narrative. Maddow dedicated a significant amount of airtime to promoting the collusion theory and fueling a witch-hunt mentality against Trump. Her actions demonstrate the biases and lack of journalistic integrity that have become all too common on MSNBC.
These examples highlight the disgraceful behavior of these media outlets and the urgent need for a thorough investigation into their practices. It is crucial for the American people to have access to fair, unbiased, and truthful reporting, which is sorely lacking in outlets like MSNBC and NBC News.
