According to those pesky folks at CNN, Trump is hatching a plan to distract everyone from the debate in Milwaukee next week. They call it “counterprogramming,” but we all know it’s just classic Trump trolling. The man knows how to grab attention like no other.
So, what’s the big plan? Well, some insider sources claim that Trump might sit down for an interview with none other than the former Fox host Tucker Carlson. Talk about stealing the spotlight! But Trump isn’t one to back down easily. He’s threatened to skip the debate, citing his frontrunner status, bias at Fox, and that pesky pledge that he rejected back in 2016. You know, the one that requires candidates to support the eventual nominee. Trump plays by his own rules, my friends.
Now, let’s not forget about Trump’s top rival, Ron DeSantis. This debate could make or break his campaign. Unfortunately for him, his campaign has had a rocky start after a much-anticipated launch. The poor guy can use all the help he can get, but it looks like Trump might not be there to lend him a hand. Tough luck, DeSantis.
As for Trump, he’s been building up the suspense by toying with the idea of attending the debate. But in true Trump fashion, he dropped some hints on Thursday that his attendance is highly unlikely. Instead, he took to his new social media platform, Truth Social, to vent his frustration with Fox News. He accused them of not showing all the polls where he’s beating Biden by a landslide. Classic Trump, always playing the victim.
So, there you have it, folks. Trump is once again making waves in the political world. Love him or hate him, you can’t deny that the man knows how to command attention.
