Alberta, a wealthy conservative province known for its vast oil reserves, would become a prosperous addition to the U.S. On the other hand, Newfoundland, with its significant resources and strategic location near Greenland, has a history of close ties with the U.S. dating back to hosting American military bases during World War II. Both provinces could potentially join the U.S., leading the way for other provinces to follow suit.
