Tucker Carlson Declares Love for Trump, Champions Populism & Calls Out Big Pharma

In an interview on the show “Stay Free,” Tucker Carlson, the former Fox News host who was unceremoniously dismissed from the network, had a candid conversation with British comedian and political commentator Russell Brand. Carlson didn’t hold back when expressing his admiration for former President Donald Trump, whom he declared his love for. As a conservative republican news writer, this comes as no surprise to me. In fact, Carlson believes that Trump’s rise will be seen as the most consequential event in American politics in the past century. Take that, FDR!

One of the things Carlson appreciates most about Trump is his foreign policy views, particularly when it comes to Ukraine. He admires Trump for questioning America’s support for ongoing conflict in Ukraine, a stance that is deserving of praise in Carlson’s eyes. As a conservative, it’s refreshing to see someone in the Republican Party willing to challenge the status quo.

But Trump isn’t the only populist figure Carlson discussed during the interview. He also brought up Teddy Roosevelt, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Ross Perot, all of whom came from privileged backgrounds but still critiqued the system they benefited from. Carlson believes this lends more weight to their critiques and makes their populism more impactful. It’s a shame we don’t see more politicians like that these days.

Of course, Carlson couldn’t resist criticizing the power of large multinational companies over media narratives. He pointed out that pharmaceutical companies, the biggest advertisers on television, have little incentive to question their own products. As a conservative, I’ve always been skeptical of big corporations and their influence. It’s good to see someone like Carlson raising awareness about this issue.

Despite his critiques, Carlson ended the interview on a hopeful note. He expressed his optimism about the rise of social media platforms like Twitter and Rumble, which offer less filtered sources of information. Carlson believes that these platforms have the potential to fulfill the promise of the internet by allowing the dissemination of information that those in power might not want the public to see. As a conservative writer, I couldn’t agree more. It’s time we had access to uncensored information.

Overall, Carlson’s interview was an interesting and refreshing look into his thoughts on Trump, populism, and the media landscape. While it’s no surprise that Carlson is a fan of Trump, it’s always interesting to hear his unique perspective. Despite his departure from Fox News, it’s clear that Carlson hasn’t lost his voice or his conservative convictions.
