In a recent interview on the “TRIGGERnometry” podcast, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson managed to stir up quite a controversy with his unconventional views on transgender athletes. It seems like every time Tyson opens his mouth, he spews out liberal nonsense that flies in the face of common sense.
Hosts of the podcast were quick to push back against Tyson’s wild ideas, rightly pointing out the vast physiological differences between men and women. It’s not just about hormones, folks! Women have different hip angles, heart capacities, lung capacities, and even bone density. These differences can’t simply be brushed aside in the name of inclusivity.
NEW: 'Scientist' Neil deGrasse has meltdown while trying to explain why men should be able to compete in women's sports.
The 'scientists' really don't seem to follow the science these days.
Before melting down, deGrasse tried coming up with a scientific explanation for why men… pic.twitter.com/uul0G9gosY

But of course, Tyson, being the self-proclaimed expert on everything, suggested an adaptable approach to sports classifications. He reminisced about his high school wrestling days and proposed slicing the population into different categories to make things “interestingly contested.” Well, that’s all well and good in theory, but what about the women athletes who would be at a clear disadvantage when pitted against transgender women?
Thankfully, the hosts had the guts to bring up this important point. Women’s opportunities are already dwindling, and now they are being forced to compete against individuals who may have a biological advantage. This isn’t fair, folks! It’s time to fix the playing field and create a level playing ground for all athletes.
Dr. Tyson should stick to studying stars and galaxies instead of meddling in gender politics and athletic classifications. His half-baked ideas do nothing but create more confusion and unfairness in the world of sports. It’s time for sanity and reason to prevail, and for our female athletes to be protected from this kind of misguided inclusivity.
