In an update from the White House, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan made it clear that the United States stands firmly behind Israel in their fight against Palestinian Hamas terrorists. And let’s face it, those terrorists are acting a heck of a lot like ISIS terrorists with their barbarity and cruelty. It’s like a never-ending episode of Terrorists Gone Wild!
When Sullivan was asked about how much retaliation in Gaza the U.S. is willing to accept, he brushed off the question. He made it clear that this is not about retaliation, but rather about defending Israel and ensuring the safety of the Israeli people. Can you imagine if rockets were flying out of your neighbor’s backyard? You’d want them taken care of too!
Now, some people were getting all worked up about setting “red lines” and imposing limits on Israel’s military actions. But Sullivan put those concerns to rest. He made it clear that the U.S. isn’t there to set boundaries. Our primary goal is to support Israel and help them ensure their safety. We’re not about micromanagement here, folks!
And let’s not forget the issue of civilian casualties. Sullivan was quick to point out that there’s a big difference between Hamas and nations like the U.S. and Israel. We don’t intentionally target civilians, unlike those terrorists over in Hamas. President Biden and Prime Minister Netanyahu have even had discussions about minimizing civilian casualties. It’s like a real-life game of “How Low Can You Go?” but with bombs instead of limbo sticks.
It’s great to see the United States reaffirming its commitment to Israel. We’ve been allies for so long, it’s like we’re joined at the hip. And let’s not forget, supporting Israel isn’t just about politics, it’s about doing what’s right. So let’s keep those terrorists on their toes and show them that we mean business. Freedom and safety for all, except for terrorists, of course!
