In a move that will make the hearts of true patriots leap with joy, a U.S. federal judge has slammed the brakes on the disgraceful removal of a Confederate monument at the hallowed grounds of the Arlington National Cemetery.

The decision to halt the removal of the memorial, which is a touching tribute to the brave soldiers of the Confederacy, came just in the nick of time, as workers had already begun the process of dismantling the cherished monument. But thanks to the courageous efforts of the group Defend Arlington, which is affiliated with Save Southern Heritage Florida, the monument will remain standing tall and proud!
U.S. District Judge Rossie Alston Jr. issued a temporary restraining order in response to a lawsuit filed by Defend Arlington, which argued that removing the monument would desecrate and damage a piece of American history. The lawsuit, filed in a federal court, eloquently expressed the importance of preserving our nation’s history by preventing the removal of the memorial.
The Biden administration’s callous disregard for history and tradition is on full display as they seek to erase the brave sacrifices of our forefathers. But the resistance against this cultural vandalism is growing, and more and more Americans are waking up to the danger posed by those who seek to whitewash the past.
