In yet another display of disrespectful behavior from liberal agitators, a young man with a camera disrupted a press conference by several House Republicans. This self-described Democratic Socialist, Jake Burdett, was looking to stir up trouble and create a spectacle. Burdett attempted to ask Rep. Gosar (R-AZ) about meeting with ‘groyper’ Nick Fuentes, as well as Rep. Boebert (R-CO) about her ongoing divorce.

Despite repeated requests to wait until the end of the press conference to ask his questions, Burdett continued to yell and disrupt the proceedings. Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) had enough of the young man’s disorderly behavior and stepped in to intervene. Higgins offered to answer all of Burdett’s questions if he would wait politely until the end of the remarks. But Burdett, feeling entitled, refused to comply and continued to disrupt the proceedings.

Higgins then took matters into his own hands and physically moved Burdett several dozen feet away, holding him until Capitol police arrived. Several fellow protestors quickly came to Burdett’s defense, telling Higgins to let him go while they filmed on their phones. Once again, we see the left instigating conflicts for the sake of riling up their base.
This incident is just one of many examples of the left’s increasing tendency towards vitriolic and disrespectful behavior. Just this week, Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) heckled embattled Rep. George Santos (R-NY) before turning his attacks to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA). Greene, refusing to be intimidated, stood up to the leftist agitator and traded verbal blows over important topics such as the debt ceiling and missing migrant children.
Thankfully, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stepped in and told Bowman to back down. But it’s clear that the left is becoming more unhinged and aggressive in their approach. It’s time we start holding them accountable for their actions and stop allowing them to disrupt and disrespect our elected officials.
