This Thursday, Missouri Senator Josh Hawley stated on the Sean Hannity show that Attorney General Merrick Garland must be removed from his position if he does not resign first. Hawley is a member of the Republican Party. In spite of the widespread criminal activity across the country, the Department of Justice (DOJ) that is headed by Garland is intent on persecuting Biden's political opponents, as Hawley pointed out.
He also brought up the fact that the government of President Joe Biden is bullying whistle-blowers.
Since a very long time ago, Senator Hawley has been drumming up opposition to Merrick Garland.

This happened as a direct response to the politically motivated raid that the FBI carried out at the residence of the President of the United States, Donald Trump.
Senator Josh Hawley is absolutely correct in demanding that Attorney General Merrick Garland step down from his position. The Justice Department has been used as a political tool by the administration of Joe Biden, and this practice needs to end immediately. We require a new Attorney General who will uphold the law in a manner that is impartial and fair.
