WH Press Sec. claims YOUR children belong to Democrats

The Democratic Party has once again shown their true colors by disrespecting parents’ rights. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made headlines at the GLAAD Media Awards by claiming that other people’s children are “our kids” and “they belong to all of us.” This is an egregious violation of the basic rights of parents and children.

In her rant against “anti-trans community” bills during an interview with Jezebel, Jean-Pierre demonstrated how out of touch and dangerous the Democratic Party has become. She claimed that parents in Texas and Oklahoma who are protecting their children from procedures they cannot legally consent to are “subjecting them to puberty blockers and hormone therapy, in addition to horrifying procedures involving genital mutilation and sterilization.” This could not be further from the truth, as parents in these states and other states are simply trying to protect their children from irreversible medical interventions that can have devastating long-term effects.

Furthermore, Jean-Pierre’s remark that “these are our kids” and “they belong to all of us” is a clear indication that the Democratic Party wants to strip parents of their basic rights and control over their children. This is a frightening prospect that should alarm all freedom-loving Americans.

It is heartening to see that groups such as Catholic Vote, Protect Women Ohio, and Do Not Harm’s Dr. Stanley Goldfarb are pushing back against these dangerous ideas. Dr. Goldfarb rightly notes that “the idea that children can make informed judgments about altering their body and their reproductive future suggests that adults, particularly those in healthcare, who support so-called gender-affirming care, are betraying these children.”

It is time for parents to wake up and vote in a way that truly protects their children. Education and parental rights were a major issue in the 2021 statewide elections in Virginia, where Gov. Glenn Youngkin, a Republican, defeated former Gov. Terry McAuliffe, a Democrat. McAuliffe infamously stated during a debate that “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.” This elitist attitude is pervasive in the Democratic Party and must be rejected.

Finally, it is important to note that Jean-Pierre and other members of the Democratic Party have a history of misleading the public with their hysterical rhetoric. Her claims last month that Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law made it so that “under threat of having their licenses revoked, gay teachers have been forced to take down pictures of their spouses from their desks and censor their classroom materials” have been fact-checked and found to be false. This kind of fear-mongering propaganda is simply unacceptable.

In conclusion, the Democratic Party’s disrespect of parents’ rights is a threat to the basic freedoms that all Americans hold dear. We must stand up against this dangerous ideology and vote for leaders who truly value parental rights and the well-being of our children.
