In a move that showcases the absurdity of the woke culture, Washington and Lee University has decided to cancel the beloved horse of General Robert E. Lee, Traveller. This decision comes as part of the university’s efforts to align with the demands of the social justice warriors. The horse, who served Lee during the Civil War, was honored with plaques on campus. But now, those plaques have been removed and replaced with bricks. Even Traveller’s gravestone, which commemorated his service, has been replaced with a generic marker. It seems that no historical figure or even animal is safe from the woke mob.

It is truly ridiculous that a university would go so far as to dishonor the grave of a helpless animal. This decision only serves to highlight the absurdity of the woke movement and the lengths it will go to erase history. If Washington and Lee University is so concerned with diversity and inclusion, perhaps they should focus on creating a welcoming environment for all students, rather than wasting their time canceling a horse.
This is just another example of how the woke culture is out of control. They are not content with removing statues and plaques, they now feel the need to cancel a horse. It is clear that their goal is not progress or equality, but rather the destruction of anything that does not align with their narrow, ideologically driven worldview. It’s time to put a stop to this madness before we lose all sense of history and perspective.
