4-Year-Old British Hero: Daisy Hamer’s Courageous Rescue vs. Chicago’s Failing Justice System!

You won’t believe what this little Brit did to save her poor mom in the most harrowing ordeal! A 4-year-old British girl, Daisy Hamer, turned into a little hero when her mom, Aimee Hamer, collapsed and stopped breathing. This little spitfire sprung into action and called 999, the UK’s version of 911, to get help for her unconscious mother.

Instead of panicking like most kids her age, Daisy stayed cool as a cucumber and even did CPR like a pro on her mom – can you even believe it? She even used the phonetic alphabet to direct emergency services to her home. Can you imagine a 4-year-old throwing around words like ‘alpha’ and ‘bravo’ like she’s been training for this her whole life?

And get this, not only did she call for help and perform life-saving CPR, but she also involved her 2-year-old sister, Molly, in the rescue mission. These little tots were a dynamic duo, I tell you! In the midst of the chaos, Daisy managed to answer all the operator’s questions and even told them about her mom’s medical conditions.

You won’t believe the cherry on top of this heart-pounding story – this little firecracker, now 5, already knows what she wants to be when she grows up. She’s got big dreams of becoming either a paramedic or a surgeon. I mean, this kid has got a future as bright as the sun! Her mom Aimee is as proud as can be and even taught her kids the phonetic alphabet just in case of an emergency.

Now, let’s take a little trip to the good old US of A, where things aren’t as heartwarming. In Chicago, a 14-year-old boy was left heartbroken after his mom was shot and killed outside their home. The poor boy tried to do CPR, but tragically, it wasn’t enough to save his mom. Can you even imagine going through something like that at 14?

This poor woman, Maria Roque, was shot multiple times in front of her home, and her kids, ages 8 and 14, witnessed the whole gruesome scene. The alleged gunman, who they say was Maria’s abusive ex, took her life in front of her own kids.

To make matters worse, Maria had gone to the authorities for protection from her ex multiple times. She tried to do everything right, but it still wasn’t enough to keep her and her children safe. It’s a sad reality that pieces of paper can’t always protect someone from a violent and dangerous person.
