In a brazen move, the statement from “60 Minutes” revealed just how far the network is willing to go to cover for the Vice President. As Harris continues to bumble her way through serious topics, CBS has resorted to tactics that any casual observer would recognize as nothing less than a political shield. Instead of fulfilling their role as an unbiased news organization, they’ve shown themselves to be a mouthpiece for the administration, which calls into question their journalistic integrity.
The entire situation underscores a larger truth: CBS News has become a laughingstock, positioning itself as another liberal echo chamber. It is beyond time for conservatives to regard networks like this with the skepticism they deserve. From taking liberties with interviews to distorting the truth, “60 Minutes” is no longer a beacon of accountability but rather a self-serving entity that trades honesty for partisan pablum. Any Republican with a hint of self-respect would do well to avoid appearing on such a discredited platform, letting CBS languish as nothing more than a second-rate version of MSNBC.
