Activist Judge Blocks Trump, Puts Violent Illegals Over Americans

A federal judge is making big moves to stop President Trump from deporting illegal immigrants linked to violent gangs. Judge James Boasberg, who was appointed by Barack Obama, keeps blocking the Trump administration’s efforts to send these criminals back to their home countries. Critics say he’s overstepping his role and putting American lives in danger just to push a liberal agenda.

Victor Davis Hanson, a top conservative thinker, called Boasberg the “most powerful man in America” for single-handedly holding up national security decisions. Hanson says left-wing groups are using judges like Boasberg to sabotage Trump’s policies. These judges don’t care about public safety—they just want to delay, delay, delay until Trump’s time in office runs out.

The Trump administration wants to use an old law called the Alien Enemies Act to quickly deport gang members from Venezuela and other countries. But Boasberg says they can’t do that without giving each person a long court process. Meanwhile, many of these migrants have violent criminal records. The administration argues slow courts let dangerous people stay on our streets.

Republicans are fighting back. Some in Congress are trying to impeach Boasberg, saying he’s abusing his power. President Trump has blasted him online as a “Radical Left Lunatic” who’s interfering with border security. Even the Justice Department says Boasberg’s rulings are out of line, but he refuses to back down.

This isn’t the first time activist judges have targeted Trump. Hanson points out that liberal judges blocked Trump’s policies during his first term too. Now they’re at it again, trying to tie up his agenda in endless legal battles. The goal is to make Trump look weak and distract from his America First plans.

Boasberg claims he’s just following the law, but conservatives say he’s ignoring the real issue—protecting citizens. Letting gang members stay here while waiting for court dates puts communities at risk. The judge even admitted some deportees might face harsh conditions back home, but safety for Americans should come first.

Democrats have lost control of Congress and the White House, so they’re relying on judges to do their dirty work. Hanson calls this “lawfare”—using the courts to attack political enemies instead of debating ideas. It’s a sneaky way to block policies voters supported when they elected Trump.

The showdown highlights a bigger problem: unaccountable judges making up laws instead of enforcing them. As long as Boasberg keeps overruling the president, our borders will stay insecure. Conservatives say it’s time for the Supreme Court to step in and put these power-hungry judges back in their place.
