Although the office of Schiff regularly requested that Twitter take down certain content, the company did not do so on multiple occasions. For instance, when it was asked to remove a post that featured a modified image of Joe Biden, a former Twitter safety and trust officer dismissed the request.
Twitter also rejected requests from Schiff's office to suppress search results related to the staff members of the House Intelligence Committee. The platform did, however, abide by some of the requests.
