As America stands strong and vigilant in defending our freedom, some Democrats seem to have lost the plot. Case in point: Texas Congressman Al Green still can’t let go of his baseless crusade against President Trump. Green thought he could ride the impeachment train to prominence once more, this time trying to oust a president for protecting our nation from nuclear threats. Spoiler alert: it didn’t work.
Green cooked up an article of impeachment against Trump for ordering strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. He claimed Trump stepped over congressional powers by doing so. Let’s not forget, defending the homeland and neutralizing threats is precisely what the commander-in-chief should do. It seems Green forgot that when lives are on the line, action must come first, not endless bureaucratic debates.
The vote on Green’s attempt fell flat, with merely 79 Democrats backing his claim. Clearly, even his fellow Dems saw through this circus act. It’s rich to hear Green throw words like “authoritarian” at a president showing decisive leadership. Meanwhile, leftist leaders elsewhere bend over backwards trying to appease hostile nations instead of standing firm.

It’s almost comical watching left-leaning politicians attempt to vilify Trump, accusing him of acting like a dictator as they ignore their own skewed vision of democracy. If democracy means crippling indecision amidst looming threats, no one should want it. Green’s stunt exposes a party consumed with destroying Trump at any cost, even when national interests are at stake.
One has to wonder, if relentless anti-Trump agendas eclipse national security for some Democrats, what does that say about their priorities? Al Green’s failed escapade against President Trump is just another reminder of why America needs leadership that prioritizes strength and security over political games. Perhaps Al Green and his like should focus on real solutions rather than crafting desperation-fueled performances for media attention.
