Every year, Albany turns into a circus right before our very eyes. The politicians put on their masks, pretend to care about your wallet, and hope you’re too distracted to see their real agenda. Here’s the ugly truth: it’s regular New Yorkers who will end up paying the price.
Governor Kathy Hochul claims she doesn’t want tax hikes, at least not before the November election. That’s convenient. She knows New Yorkers are already struggling to afford groceries, rent, and gas. She also knows that another round of tax hikes could be political suicide. Of course, after the votes are counted, all bets are off.

Meanwhile, the radical left lawmakers in the Legislature are practically drooling over the chance to jack up taxes even higher. They never met a paycheck they didn’t want to raid. These so-called “progressives” pretend they’re fighting for the little guy, but their high-tax schemes crush working families and small businesses. What do they care? Most of them are career politicians who wouldn’t last one day in the real world.
And let’s be honest – this isn’t about “fairness” or “equity.” It’s about growing government, making more people dependent, and filling the pockets of their friends and donors. Every dollar they suck out of taxpayers finds its way to special interests, pet projects, or bloated bureaucracies. The rest of us? We get stuck with less freedom, less opportunity, and less hope.
How many more times will New Yorkers let these clowns in Albany bleed us dry? At this point, anyone still buying the empty promises and phony virtue-signaling from the left must enjoy getting ripped off. When your bills skyrocket next year, remember who made it happen – and ask yourself if voting for more of the same insanity makes any sense at all.
