The GOP-led House Oversight Committee recently had a meeting that turned into a chaotic shouting match between Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Marjorie Taylor Greene. AOC got upset when Greene made fun of Jasmine Crockett’s fake eyelashes, leading to a heated exchange of words. Greene even went as far as attacking AOC’s intelligence, causing further tension.
In the midst of all this drama, Representative Lauren Boebert’s reaction was caught on camera. Can you blame her for looking shocked and disturbed by the unruly behavior on display? It’s no wonder – the lack of decorum and respect in the Democratic Party is truly appalling.
The way Jasmine Crockett and others behaved during the meeting is disgraceful and a clear example of the Democrats’ descent into chaos. The lack of civility and professionalism from these representatives is troubling and reflects poorly on their party as a whole.
It’s about time someone in authority takes a stand against such behavior. If we had a strong Speaker of the House, they would have already expelled Crockett for her disgraceful conduct. It’s high time these politicians are held accountable for their actions and held to a higher standard of behavior.
The shameful behavior exhibited by certain Democratic representatives like Jasmine Crockett only serves to highlight the decay of civility and decorum in politics. Voters deserve better than this constant bickering and disrespect. Let’s hope for a return to decency and respect in our elected officials moving forward.
