In what can only be described as a battle between true warriors, West Point and Annapolis clashed on the football field once again. Now, don’t expect to see these fine cadets showcasing their quarterback skills or pulling off fancy trick plays. No, no. This is a game where grit, determination, and good old-fashioned running the ball down your opponent’s throat reign supreme. And boy, did this year’s game have some extra spice!
Did Joe Biden Attend the Army-Navy Game Over the Weekend?

You see, Army’s upset win over Air Force in November meant that the Commander-in-Chief trophy was up for grabs. The Black Knights could take it home if they emerged victorious against their naval rivals. But what’s that? Did anyone spot a representative from the Biden administration in attendance? Nope, not our President Joe Biden himself. He was too busy hobnobbing with wealthy liberal donors. Typical.
Now, attending the Army-Navy game has always been seen as a soft, yet mandatory, action item for our Commanders-in-Chief. They don’t have to show up every year, but come on, it’s the least they can do. Was Biden afraid of getting booed? Please, that never happens at these games. Or perhaps it’s because Biden and the military brass still have a contentious relationship? Your guess is as good as mine.
In the end, Army emerged victorious with a score of 17-11, clinching the Commander-in-Chief trophy. This was their chance to shine, to claim the trophy outright for the first time since 2020. And that’s exactly what they did. Talk about an underdog story! They even beat Air Force, who were ranked 17th at the time. Way to go, Black Knights!
CNN provided a decent breakdown of the game if you’re into that sort of thing. But let’s cut to the chase: Army dominated most of the game, scoring the first touchdown early in the second quarter. Navy tried to mount a comeback, but Army’s defense held strong, even stopping them on the one-foot line in the final seconds. Talk about clutch!
Now, while the game itself was filled with excitement, there was one man missing from the action. That’s right, Joe Biden. You would think attending a public event like this would be a no-brainer for him. Or was his staff concerned that the cameras would catch him napping? I mean, it’s not like he’s got a busy schedule or anything. Come on, Mr. President, show some support for our brave men and women in uniform!
Well, there’s always next year. Let’s hope President Biden can muster up the energy to attend and applaud these exceptional cadets. They deserve it. And who knows, maybe we’ll witness another thrilling game that’ll keep everyone on the edge of their seats. But one thing’s for sure: the Army-Navy game never disappoints, unlike some politicians I know.
