In a miraculous turn of events, the hit TV show “The Chosen,” which tells the story of Jesus Christ through the eyes of his Apostles, has been granted an exemption from the actors’ strike currently plaguing Hollywood. As a conservative news writer, let me tell you, this is fantastic news!
“The Chosen” is not only one of my favorite shows ever, but it’s also the largest crowd-funded project in history. People just can’t get enough of it, and I can’t blame them. The stories of Jesus and his miracles are brought to life in a way that is truly remarkable. Even if you’re not a Christian, this show will give you a whole new understanding of who Jesus was and why he still has a following today.

Now, with season four currently under production, things hit a snag when the actors’ strike threatened to shut down filming. But, fear not! The creators of “The Chosen” were granted a waiver to continue shooting. It’s a miracle, really. And let’s be honest, Hollywood might have been a bit antsy about allowing a pro-Christian show to continue. But thanks to this exemption, “The Chosen” will carry on, giving viewers the opportunity to witness Jesus’ story in an incredibly powerful way.
I can’t express enough how grateful I am for this show and the light it brings to a world that feels increasingly dark. It’s a blessing, plain and simple. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend checking it out. You can watch all three seasons for free, or catch it on the CW. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
