Regardless of whether or not abortion is legal in the United States, Joe Biden's government is doing everything in its power to ensure that women can abort their pregnancies with no regard for the life of the unborn child.
As a matter of fact, the Biden administration is not pursuing the cynical approach to overturning Roe v. Wade in order to help women who are at risk because of any altruistic motives. No, no, no.
Politically, this is an excellent strategy for saving the Democrats from their current crisis and winning over progressive lefties in time for the next midterm elections, which are scheduled for November 6. Straightforward and uncomplicated.
Although many states restrict abortion in most circumstances, the Biden administration declared on Monday that hospitals are expected to ensure that patients can have abortions when they are determined to be medically necessary in emergency cases.
The reversal of the Roe v. Wade decision is just too big a loss for Biden and the Democrats to bear while they are in the White House. This is a public relations stunt aimed to show that they are serious about their opposition to the Supreme Court's ruling on the Affordable Care Act.
Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act specifies that in the event of a medical emergency, a physician is required to conduct an abortion, regardless of the state law in place," the Department of Health and Human Services said.
Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra said that women have the right to emergency health care—including abortion treatment regardless of where they live.

The official working for President Biden once said that the administration had studied the prospect of setting up abortion tents on federal land in order to avoid the Supreme Court's ruling.

Additionally, Becerra stated that the government was looking into methods to spend taxpayer money to provide women with the ability to have abortions in other jurisdictions, including funding for the women's transportation to states controlled by the Democratic Party. Throughout the interview, he was adamant in his disapproval of the person who dared to question the legality of this scheme.

It's a media-tested hysteria-inducing scare tactic that's being used to stoke panic ahead of the midterm elections. This strategy is designed to boost voter participation.
Abortion should be available to any pregnant woman whose life is in danger because of the unborn child in her womb, no matter what the reason for the pregnancy. The Supreme Court's ruling and subsequent state legislation banning the procedure apply exclusively to elective abortions, not to those that are medically necessary in an emergency.
The Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA) mandates that hospitals participating in Medicare and Medicaid must provide emergency care to patients regardless of their ability to pay. Patients who needed medical care could no longer be denied it because of a lack of financial resources, which was the initial purpose. As stated by the Biden administration, the federal statute, including limits on life-or-health exceptions, takes precedence over all state laws.
When President Biden stated publicly that he was considering overriding individual states' rights to abortion through the use of a national emergency health proclamation, Sec Becerra made the choice to follow suit.
