President Joe Biden is hitting new lows, proving once again that the clown car of Democratic leadership is stuck in reverse. After last week’s disastrous debate performance, the latest survey reveals that Biden is trailing not only former President Donald Trump but also other Democratic hopefuls, including his sidekick, Kamala Harris. If this keeps up, Biden might be polling behind your neighborhood watch captain soon.
In a hypothetical one-on-one against Trump, Biden is down by six points, with 49% of registered voters favoring Trump and only 43% supporting Uncle Joe. Meanwhile, the poll shows Kamala putting up a better fight against Trump, although she’s still coming up short. She trails Trump by a mere two points, within the margin of error, mainly owing to support from female voters who clearly haven’t seen her laugh-off crises like a stand-up comic at an open mic night.
Washington Examiner: Biden performing worse than any Democrat against Trump: Poll https://t.co/C7IBUlBVTX

The poll brought some clarity to the mayhem. Trump trumped Harris by 47% to 45%, a contest close enough to keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Interestingly, women and independents seem to be flocking toward Harris over Biden, which showcases Biden’s diminishing charm. Could it be that voters have finally grown tired of a president who seems to forget what state he’s in, both literally and figuratively?
Democrats are publicly wringing their hands and whispering calls for Biden to gracefully exit stage left. But Biden, gripping the presidential podium as if it’s the last floatation device on the Titanic, insists on staying the course. His argument? Replacing him now would be chaotic, giving Trump the advantage in November. It’s a questionable stance from a man who’s presided over one crisis after another.
It’s not just Biden who should be worried; other Democrats aren’t faring much better. Gavin Newsom, the supposed knight in shining armor, trails Trump by five points. Pete Buttigieg, the guy who managed to turn the Department of Transportation into a case study for inefficiency, is four points behind Trump. And let’s not forget Gretchen Whitmer, whose lockdown drama lost her friends in Michigan. She lags five points behind Trump as well. It’s like watching a herd of turtles try to outrun a racehorse.
Adding to Biden’s headaches, the CNN poll paints a grim picture: 56% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning voters believe the party would fare better with someone—anyone—other than Biden. Contrastingly, the Republican base stands united, with a whopping 83% believing their best bet remains Trump. This clearly showcases why Democrats are sharpening their knives behind Biden’s back while the GOP stands rock solid behind Trump.
Independents are also throwing Biden under the metaphorical bus. They’re favoring Trump by a ten-point margin. To top it all off, the number of independents who say they’ll sit out the election rather than choose between these two drastically increased from April. Bottom line: Biden’s ship isn’t just taking on water; it’s starting to look like the Titanic.
Biden’s approval rating has hit a spectacular new low of 36%, while an increasing number of Americans, 45%, strongly disapprove of his performance. Kamala Harris? Her numbers are even worse, sporting a 29% favorability rating, which means she’s succeeding spectacularly at being an afterthought. It’s hard to fathom how the Democratic candidates will reverse this freefall.
The Democratic strategy of pretending everything is fine while the house is burning down doesn’t seem to be working. Who would’ve thought? With numbers like these, Biden and his merry band of Democrats may soon find themselves without a home in the White House.
