Biden Attends Boston Fundraiser Amid Israel Policy Critiques, Trails Trump in Campaign Funds

President Biden plans to attend a fundraiser in Boston, Massachusetts on Tuesday evening, despite criticism from one of the event’s hosts about his policies on Israel. The president is also facing backlash from within the Democratic Party over his handling of the conflict in Gaza. George Krupp, a co-host of the fundraiser, expressed concern that Biden’s stance on Israel could negatively impact his support in the upcoming election.

Former President Donald Trump has been making strides in his fundraising efforts, raising $76 million in donations compared to $51 million for Biden and the Democratic Party. This surge in donations comes despite Trump’s ongoing legal issues, including a criminal trial in New York. The former president’s campaign claims that the momentum is on their side and that Americans want Trump back in the White House.

While Biden still leads in total fundraising, his campaign argues that Trump’s mounting legal fees may hinder his ability to campaign effectively. They pointed out that the Trump campaign spent twice as much on legal fees as on campaigning last month and indicated that 200 of his donors had maxed out their contributions during that period. The Biden campaign also highlighted Trump’s cancellation of a third trip to Arizona this year as a sign of his campaign’s lack of infrastructure and support.

In summary, President Biden is facing criticism over his Israel policies and is trailing behind Trump in fundraising efforts. However, the Biden campaign remains confident in their ability to win the upcoming election, citing Trump’s legal troubles and campaign shortcomings as potential obstacles to his success.
