Biden Betrays Israel at UN, Cowers to Left-Wing Radicals!

The U.S.-Israel alliance took a sucker punch this week when the United States chickened out from vetoing a United Nations Security Council resolution over the Israel-Hamas war. Who do they think they are? The United States refusal to have Israel’s back is a low blow and doesn’t bode well for the land of the free and the home of the brave.

The wimpy decision and the subsequent Israeli backlash shed light on the domestic challenges President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are grappling with. Biden has been all talk and no action when it comes to supporting Israel’s right to defend itself against the despicable Hamas terrorist attacks. But he’s been getting heat from the lefties in his own party, pressuring him to pull the plug on Israel’s military efforts in Gaza. It’s a shame to see the president giving in to the far-left radicals instead of standing up for our strong ally.

Now, Biden’s poll numbers have taken a hit because of his mishandling of the situation. The progressives have been protesting and even running write-in campaigns against him in primary contests, causing a real headache for the administration. If Biden doesn’t shape up and show some backbone, he might as well start packing his bags for the next election.

As if Biden’s weakness wasn’t bad enough, the U.S. decided to sit on the sidelines and let the U.N. Security Council pass a resolution calling for a ceasefire without even condemning Hamas for their cowardly attack. It’s clear that the White House is desperately trying to cater to the progressive wing of the party, and it’s a sorry sight to see.

Meanwhile, over in Israel, Netanyahu is also drowning in domestic troubles. The U.S. betrayal has left him fuming, and he’s using it as an excuse to blame the U.S. for holding him back from finishing the job with Hamas. And to top it off, he’s facing heat at home over securing the release of hostages and the exemptions granted to Haredi men from mandatory military service.

It seems like both Biden and Netanyahu are struggling to keep their heads above water in the midst of this foreign policy fiasco. When will they learn to stick together and show some strength? It’s time for them to stop playing political games and start standing up for what’s right. The U.S.-Israel alliance deserves better, and so do the people of both nations.
