Oh, here we go again with President Joe Biden and his loose lips. The guy just can’t seem to keep sensitive information to himself. In a live interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria, Biden let slip that the U.S. is low on 155 mm artillery ammunition rounds. Way to go, Mr. President.
Biden Says Quiet Part Out Loud About the U.S. Military During Live Interview

Now, you might be wondering why this is a big deal. Well, let me break it down for you. We have a president who is supposed to be keeping our country safe and secure, but he’s out here telling the whole world that we’re running low on ammo. That’s like a bank executive going on TV and saying, “Hey, we’re almost out of money, so if any robbers are listening, now would be a great time to strike!” It’s just plain irresponsible.
Joe Biden wasn't supposed to say the quiet part out loud: "We've run out of ammunition". But now that the cat's out of the bag, one must ask whether continued support of Ukraine's military is even feasible as the conflict rages on. pic.twitter.com/jddIrHlSM8

Joe Biden broadcasting to the world that the US is low on 155mm shells.
Moron. Does Biden not care that our adversaries in China are listening? https://t.co/X8M9k617CU

love when the president of America goes on CNN to tell everyone we’re low on ammo. https://t.co/vd0eQRh75Z

Last year, WH Press Secretary Jen Psaki called the use of cluster bombs a “war crime.” Now President Biden plans to send them to Ukraine. Stop the ceaseless escalation! It is time for peace. #Kennedy24https://t.co/W1uXkQY4dW

But wait, there’s more. Not only did Biden admit that we’re low on ammo, but he also tried to justify his decision to send cluster munitions to Ukraine. He called it a “transition period” until we can produce more munitions. Sorry, but I don’t buy it. It sounds like a weak excuse to me. Why can’t we just keep our ammo for ourselves? We should be focused on protecting our own country, not playing hero to others.
Of course, the White House quickly tried to do damage control. They claimed that the U.S. is not actually low on ammunition and that everything we send to Ukraine is just extra. Yeah, right. I’m sure our military is swimming in ammo and just decided to share it out of the goodness of their hearts. Give me a break. We all know that Biden let the cat out of the bag, and now his team is scrambling to cover it up.
But here’s the real kicker. Even Biden’s own Democratic opponent for the 2024 election criticized him for his slip-up. If your own party is calling you out, you know you messed up. It’s clear that Biden’s competency is being questioned, and rightfully so. We need a leader who can keep their mouth shut and make decisions that put America first, not someone who spills the beans and leaves us vulnerable.
So, thanks a lot, President Biden. Your thoughtless comments have once again put our country at risk. Maybe next time, just keep your mouth shut and let the professionals handle things.
