The Lester Holt interview with Biden was a spectacle to behold as the President snapped, snarled, and whined his way through what should have been a straightforward conversation. It seems that Biden’s handlers forgot to give him a script for this one, and boy, did it show.
Rather than presenting a calm and collected demeanor, Biden appeared flustered and defensive. It’s always entertaining to watch the Commander-in-Chief lose his cool, especially when faced with simple questions that any competent leader should be able to handle with ease. But hey, this is the same guy who occasionally loses track of where he is while speaking, so perhaps expecting smooth sailing was too much.

Holt, usually a softball tosser, wasn’t even throwing heaters, yet the President still managed to trip over his own words. For a leader who promised unity and calm, this performance was anything but. The American people deserve answers, not excuses and outbursts.
As the midterm elections approach, one has to wonder how much longer the Democrats can keep spinning headlines to cover up for Biden’s gaffes. It’s increasingly clear that the supposedly “transparent” administration is more about damage control than open communication.
It’s a sad day when a sitdown with a friendly face like Holt leaves one questioning the stability and readiness of the leader of the free world. Americans deserve better, and it’s high time we held this administration accountable for its ongoing blunders.
