Joe Biden recently appeared in an interview with Lester Holt of NBC News, where he faced questions about his response to the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. The interview revealed some troubling aspects about Biden’s leadership, or lack thereof.
One glaring issue was Biden’s apparent confusion regarding the director of the Secret Service, referring to her as “him.” This oversight is not just a simple mistake but highlights a pattern of forgetfulness when it comes to important officials serving under him. The fact that Biden doesn’t know who heads his own Secret Service raises concerns about who is really in charge at the White House.

BIDEN: No.
NBC: Are you seeing what they saw? Moments of confusion.

Moreover, Biden’s interview showcased his quick temper and defensiveness. He seemed unable to control his emotions, lashing out at Holt and the press for not highlighting what he believed were lies told by his predecessor during a debate. Biden’s inability to address questions calmly and his tendency to deflect responsibility paint a picture of a leader who is out of touch with reality.
The interview ended with Biden once again displaying his anger, demanding that the focus be on the issues he wants to talk about. This behavior only adds to the perception that Biden’s campaign is struggling and that his team cannot trust him to maintain composure in public settings.
