The Biden administration is at it again with their heavy-handed regulations, this time targeting the hardworking diesel trucks and buses that keep our country moving. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is touting these new rules as the “strongest-ever greenhouse gas emissions” standards, but it just sounds like more government overreach to the good folks over at FOX News.
Stop Eating Food! Do Biden and his Green Bosses understand that nearly all food in the US is delivered by big diesel trucks?

These rules, set to go into effect in 2026 for model year 2027 vehicles, are expected to become even more strict through model year 2032. And what’s the end goal here? Well, the Biden administration wants a larger number of trucks and buses to be zero-emissions in that time frame, in spite of any concerns about their efficiency.
The EPA says the rules don’t explicitly require a shift to electric vehicles, but they set pollution limits that basically leave manufacturers with no choice but to go electric or invest in other lower-emitting technologies like hybrids.
We all know that electric vehicles are a joke when it comes to heavy-duty work. A group of YouTubers tested both electric and gas-powered trucks hauling trailers, and the results really speak for themselves. Electric trucks just can’t cut it when it comes to the tough jobs.
EPA Administrator Michael Regan claims these regulations will significantly cut pollution from heavy-duty vehicles, but at what cost? The Biden administration is aiming to push manufacturers towards battery-powered vehicles, disregarding the practicality and reliability of good old-fashioned diesel power.
And to add insult to injury, the EPA claims these standards could lead to a sizable portion of trucks being electric by 2032. But here’s the kicker: currently, less than one percent of new truck sales in the U.S. are zero-emissions. So, the Biden administration is setting unrealistic expectations and putting undue pressure on hardworking Americans in the trucking industry.
