In a surprising turn of events, President Biden’s administration has announced the construction of a new section of the border wall. This comes as a shock, considering the president’s previous stance against the wall and his support for open borders. It seems that even Biden himself is confused about his own administration’s actions, as he struggled to identify who was in charge during a recent press conference.
Border walls have been proven to be effective in deterring illegal immigration. While they may not solve the entire problem, they act as a physical barrier that is harder to cross than an open border. It’s quite obvious to anyone with common sense that a 30-foot wall is more difficult to climb than wading through a river. However, it seems that Biden either lacks intelligence or is being intentionally dishonest in his statements.
Furthermore, Biden’s admission that he is not in charge of his own administration is concerning, especially given his mental state. During the press conference, he couldn’t even remember which department his new Joint Chiefs Chairman belonged to, despite the fact that he was sitting right in front of him in uniform.
The fact that the Biden administration is trying to disown its own construction of the border wall while simultaneously allowing it to happen is ridiculous. It is clear that not a single foot of the wall would be built if Biden didn’t give the green light. The only other explanation is that he is a figurehead with no real power. The administration is welcome to embrace that narrative if they wish.
Overall, this latest development only highlights the confusion and lack of leadership within the Biden administration. It is clear that his immigration policies have been a disaster, and this flip-flopping on the border wall only further proves that point.
