President Joe Biden’s mental fitness for presidency has been brought into question yet again. He recently met with the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and required note cards for basic greetings. This is troubling, as Biden is supposed to be able to communicate with foreign leaders without assistance. During this meeting, he was also confused about Sunak’s position, which raises concerns about his mental ability to handle the job.

Biden decided to hold a press conference after the meeting, but he had pre-approved questions and responses for the interview. Despite having cards, Biden seemed to have been blanking out at various points and didn’t seem to know how many people are in Africa. When reporters tried to ask additional questions, Biden became disturbed and testy when they questioned him about corruption.
When asked about bribery allegations, the president replied, “Where’s the money?” with a smirk, before calling it “a bunch of malarkey.” This response was an unbelievable display of arrogance, as it made it seem as if the president thought he was untouchable and didn’t need to answer any questions. This case is reminiscent of the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal, and how Clinton stated he had never told anyone to lie, “not a single time; never.” This response suggests that Biden may also be a pathological liar.
The Republicans have information on the money that has come in from foreign nationals to the Biden family, which makes the president’s response even more concerning. Biden has lied in the past, claiming that his son never received money from China, even though it was proven through the House Oversight Committee’s bank records. Biden stated that he has never talked to his son about his business, which is another lie. It’s crucial to hold President Biden accountable for his dishonest behaviors. The Oversight Committee needs to investigate and uphold the rule of law.
