President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden took part in a White House Halloween event, but things didn’t go quite as planned. The couple was carrying on the long-standing tradition of handing out candy to trick-or-treaters when some awkward and concerning moments unfolded.
First, President Biden seemed to completely disregard White House COVID guidelines by coughing into his hand. It’s rather ironic that he’s so adamant about masks and vaccinations, yet can’t remember to follow basic health protocols himself. Maybe he needs a reminder to cover that cough!

Then, the president had a moment of confusion when a family asked to take a picture with him. The First Lady had to step in and guide him to the right spot for the photo. It’s not exactly reassuring when the leader of our country can’t even remember where to stand for a picture. Maybe he needs to get those memory synapses firing again!
But the most bizarre moment of all was when President Biden appeared to take a big sniff of a baby. Who does that? It’s just plain strange and inappropriate. Maybe someone should explain to him that it’s not polite to go around sniffing people, especially babies.
These incidents may seem insignificant, but they paint a larger picture of a president who seems disoriented and out of touch. It’s concerning to think that this is the person making important decisions on behalf of our nation. We need a strong and sharp leader, not someone who can’t even remember where to cough or how to interact with babies. Let’s hope President Biden can get it together before more embarrassing moments occur.
