House Speaker Kevin McCarthy accused Joe Biden of lying about his son Hunter’s business dealings in China in an interview with Fox News. McCarthy stated that IRS long-term workers with experience of abuse of power were able to provide evidence of how Hunter Biden was treated. Additionally, he claimed that President Biden had lied and declared that they never dealt with anything in China when evidence to the contrary was brought to light. The House Republicans have requested answers from U.S. Attorney David Weiss by July 6 after new IRS whistleblower allegations suggest that an impeachment inquiry may be necessary. McCarthy hopes to get to the facts, including evidence of clear disparities. McCarthy’s accusations come after an impeachment inquiry was announced by the House against Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland.
NEW: @SpeakerMcCarthy says House will begin impeachment inquiry into AG Garland by July 6 based on new bombshell IRS whistleblower allegations.
"And if it comes true what the IRS whistleblower is saying, we're going to start impeachment inquiries on the attorney general."
